  • HAS Student Rachel Spinti Wins 2019 AHS Halpenny Internship

    Congratulations all around for Rachel Spinti, HAS BS EHY undergraduate, who has just been selected as the 2019 Arizona Hydrological Society Leonard Halpenny Intern Scholar! She was selected from among a large pool of University of Arizona undergraduate and graduate applicants from various water-related departments.  Spinti is currently studying abroad at Uppsala University in Sweden. Last year she completed a summer internship project with the Pima County Regional Flood Control Distict office which required rainfall and runoff data to quantify the harvestable amount of water from a rooftop.
