    Update 7 March 2019: The research of Xubin Zeng and colleagues was included in an Arizona PBS segment on snowpack and snowmelt. The snowpack/snowmass research data and graphs recently published by HAS Professor Xubin Zeng and HAS alumnus Patrick Broxton were used by author Porter Fox to develop an opinion piece for the New York Times Sunday Review published on February 3.     HAS Regents Professor Hoshin Gupta and HAS Professor Xubin Zeng  -- both College of Science Galileo Fellows -- were among the UA College of Science faculty members featured in the Arizona Daily Star Annual UA Science Magazine on Sunday, January 13.     Congratulations to HAS Professor Xubin Zeng on his election as a 2018 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, or AAAS, the world's largest general scientific society.
