Assistant Professor, Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences
Expertise Modeling flow in permeable earth materials with focuses on: 1) understanding the fundamental physics of fluid flow at pore scale (i.e., the scale of the interstices between the solid grains); 2) developing predictive computational models at field scale to address practical engineering problems for energy and environmental systems in subsurface (e.g., shale gas/oil production, geologic CO2 storage, contaminant transport in soil and groundwater).
