HAS Advisory Board Member

Jesse Dickinson is a Research Hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Tucson, Arizona. He is an alumnus of the University of Arizona College of Science having completed a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Hydrology in 2016. His current work focuses on multi-scaled processes and feedbacks in terrestrial hydrology. Topics have included the interactions between groundwater and surface water in the desert Southwest and assessing how climate variability signals are preserved in hydrologic systems. With the USGS Integrated Modeling and Prediction Division, Jesse leads research on the advancement of regional and national predictive hydroterrestrial models, with emphasis on model scalability and simplicity. Jesse works on the UArizona campus and enjoys the opportunity to contribute on research topics with students in HAS.
