For graduate students in Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences!

News from the UA Science Sky School

Dr. Peter Troch, HAS Department Head, and David Austin, Outreach Manager for Steward Observatory, are developing content for Water in the Sky Islands modules for the nationally renowned UA Sky School.

This content/program is meant to be used for local high school outreach. The job opportunity mentioned on the flyer (above) solicits grad students to become grad instructors to help teach the content and work with the K-12 students (high school age) on exciting field activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for grad students to represent the HAS department and become mentors and instructors for the new water content in the Sky School based here in Tucson and on Mount Lemmon!

Interested students may begin the application process here.
