Congratulations to our undergraduate and graduate students who were selected for this highly prestigious honor!

Dean Carmala Garzione and the College of Science hosted a reception in the Student Union Grand Ballroom on November 6, 2024, to recognize this year's Galileo Scholars.

The Galileo Circle Scholarship is one of the highest honors the College of Science can award students. Each year, departments and programs across the college nominate their most exceptional students to be Galileo Circle Scholars. From over 8,000 undergraduates and 900 graduate students, fewer than 2% are selected to receive this prestigious scholarship.

Thanks to the generosity of our Galileo Circle members, the College of Science awarded over $200,000 in scholarship funds to 149 students this year. This support plays a crucial role in helping students pursue their academic and professional goals.

  • Eden Harper
  • Dylan Girone
  • Jonathan Hasenstab
  • Miguel Hilario
