2026-2027 Committee Members
The goal of this committee is to evaluate and make necessary changes to the courses, learning, and concepts necessary for students pursuing an undergraduate degree, minor, or general education course in water and weather science. This includes both students interested in becoming hydrologists, meteorologists, and atmospheric scientists, as well as students looking to work more broadly in the water,- weather-, and climate-related fields.
Faculty work together to propose necessary changes to the curriculum as dictated by program assessment data, changing science and technology, and professional demands. The committee will bring proposed changes to the larger faculty for comment, refinement, and vote.
In addition, this committee also works alongside the Academic Committee and the larger department Curriculum Committee, as well as the overall faculty to determine teaching rotation and undergraduate course development plans.
