The Glenn E. Shaw Award of $1,000 is presented at the annual student symposium, El Dia del Agua y la Atmosfera, and recognizes the best poster presentation in the field Atmospheric Sciences (excluding the Krider and Herman Awards) and is based on excellence in technical communication, writing, and visual presentation.
The Certificate and Award is sponsored by a HAS Advisory Board Member in honor of the late HAS alumnus, Glenn E. Shaw.
