Take a Trip with the New Hydrogeology Master’s Course!

If you’re looking to elevate your scientific learning at HAS, the one-year course in Hydrogeology is here to provide a Master’s degree using integrated learning in exciting ways. This new program provides a master's experience that is unique in the world of hydro sciences.
This is the latest program to come from HAS and is already gaining traction according to Ty Ferré, a University Distinguished Professor and one of the leads on this master’s course. Ferré says that there are already 14 students in the program.
“We think this will be the future of Master’s level education.” Ferré said. "Unlike a master’s course you might imagine, this course starts with a field trip to get students out and into the field of Hydrogeologic sciences. Traveling across central and southern Arizona and learning while having fun sounds like a great way to spend the start of your fall semester."
