Omid Sandi Wins Student Poster Award at AGU 2023 Annual Fall Meeting

Congratulations to Omid Zandi, HAS PhD Student, for receiving an award from the American Geophysical Union (AGU) 2023 Fall Meeting for his poster, Developing a Novel Long-Term M-based Precipitation Product from AVHRR in High Latitudes Using Various Observational Datasets and Auxiliary Variables from Reanalysis.

Omid's AGU presentation was one of 5 student presentations out of 21 applications selected by the AGU Precipitation Technical Committee to receive a $200 award. He has also been invited to participate in their upcoming seminar series.
