UPDATE: Xubin Zeng updated his original forecast on 6/16/2021 with a revised document, June 2021 Hurricane Prediction. The new forecast continues to predict an active year in most categories: 6 hurricanes, 4 major hurricanes, 19 named storms, and 183 ACEs.

For the 2021 Hurricane Season--June 1 through November 30--HAS atmospheric scientists Kyle Davis and Xubin Zeng predict an above-average hurricane season over the North Atlantic: 8 hurricanes, including 4 major hurricanes. This year the research group also predicts 18 Named Storms.
