HASSA Speaker Series: Tony Merriman, Flagstaff Warning Coordination Meteorologist and Outreach Coordinator, National Weather Service in Flagstaff

HASSA would like to welcome Warning Coordination Meteorologist (WCM) Tony Merriman as our speaker for the month of April this Wednesday, April 17, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm via zoom (see your email for details).

Tony is the WCM and Outreach Coordinator at the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, Arizona. He currently serves as the liaison between local and state governments to maintain efficient communication and relationships. He is also responsible for directing annual storm spotter training and is the primary contact for any media inquiries and outreach events. 

We highly encourage all students, staff, and faculty to attend if able!
