By the time of graduation, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate mastery of at least four of the following topics: a) Water quality, b) Subsurface hydrology, c) Surface water hydrology, d) Systems hydrology, e) Water policy
- Conduct basic hydrological measurement techniques
- Analyze hydrologic data and formulate conclusions
- Effectively communicate hydrologic concepts and research
- Produce and/or publish Professional-quality data summaries and Professional-quality reports and/or peer-reviewed, journal-quality papers on research results OR, for PHD students, Peer-reviewed, journal-quality papers on research results that constitute a new contribution to the discipline
