This week's seminar is the second panel discussion in the HAS Parade of Stars series. Our panelists will discuss the current knowledge gaps in Hydrological Science and introduce their research advances in Hydrological Science's specific fields. In detail, Dr. Ferre will introduce his innovative research in harnessing the power of ensemble modeling and machine learning in subsurface hydrology. Dr. Guo will discuss the role of the subsurface of the Earth on water quality and his exciting advance in the Per-and Poly-FluoroAlkyl Substances (PFAS) study. Dr. Yeh will present his advanced intelligent data collection and analysis methods for water quality and water quantity. Dr. Meixner will introduce his innovative research in coupled social-hydrologic systems. Dr. Baker will bring us to his 60 years' excellent studies in extreme flood and discuss the future and broad impacts of extreme flood research. Finally, our panelists will discuss potential opportunities to advance study in Hydrological Science.
