Join fellow students at a new monthly seminar series, Science & Policy Bites, happening in September, October, and November! This new series is one of the outcomes of AGU's Voices for Science.

The first talk will be held Tuesday, September 24, from 12-1 pm in Bannister 110 (Laboratory for Tree Ring Research).

HASSA President Diana Zamora-Reyes and UA LPL Staff member Singleton Thibodeaux will talk about the purpose of this seminar series, appropriations at the Hill, and why this matters to you. Special guest speakers will also include Sabrina Vazquez, Senior Director, UA State Relations, and Julie Katsel, Senior Director, UA Community and Local Government. They will talk about how the UA advocates for scientists at various government levels.
