Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Commander, 25th Operational Weather Squadron

Lt. Col. Steven Randle is Commander, 25th Operational Weather Squadron, 1st Weather Group, 557th Weather Wing, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona. He leads a 173-member squadron responsible for producing and disseminating mission planning weather analysis, forecasts, advisories, watches, warnings, and briefings for use by joint, coalition, and allied forces operating at 86 locations across the Western USNORTHCOM and entire USSOUTHCOM AOR. Lt. Col. Randle received a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Texas A&M University in 1996. He was commissioned into the Air Force through Officer Training School in 1999. Throughout his career, he has supported multiple Air Force/Army exercises and operations across the United States, Europe, Eastern Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. His last assignment was as the 35111F Program Element Monitor, Directorate of Weather, Pentagon, Washington, D.C, where he oversaw and managed the Air Force Weather budget portfolio.
